Hello, this is Shouta. Well, I've been visiting ramen shops frequently and today I went to the recently opened "Ichiran" for lunch!
こんにちは、しょうたです。さて、連日ラーメン屋をめぐっているボクですが、今日はお昼ご飯を食べに、最近オープンした「一蘭」に行ってきました！
Ichiran is famous for its tonkotsu (pork bone) ramen, but I don't usually eat tonkotsu ramen, so I was a little nervous when I went to the store💓I heard that there are "five originals" in this restaurant.
とんこつラーメンとして有名な「一蘭」ですが、普段とんこつラーメンは全くといっていいほど食べないので、少しドキドキしながらお店に向かいました💓なにやら“五つの元祖”なるものがあるそう、、、
The restaurant is located on the first floor of Norvesa, about a two-minute walk from Susukino Station.
お店はすすきの駅から徒歩二分ほどにある“ノルベサ”の一階にあります。

When I walked in...
中に入ってみると、
It was all red!
赤い！！
It was bright red anyway :-0
とにかく真っ赤でした（笑）
It was like an “ennichi”, which is a day that you connect with Gods and Buddha, and I felt excited even before eating ramen.
昔ながらの“縁日”って感じで食べる前からなんだかワクワクしてきますね。。。
There were even ramen noodles for sale as souvenirs!
お土産用のラーメンなんかも売っていましたよ！
Most ramen shops these days require purchasing of meal tickets, and Ichiran was one of them.
最近のラーメン屋さんは食券制のところが多いですが、やはり「一蘭」も食券でした。
Ichiran has only one type of ramen, "Natural Tonkotsu Ramen," so I bought that.
「一蘭」にはラーメンが“天然とんこつラーメン”の一種類しかないためそちらを購入。
The fact that they don't diversify their menu shows how particular they are!
メニューをあえて多様化しないあたりにこだわりが伺えますね！
As we walked to our seats, we saw some kind of dividers.
席に向かうと何やら仕切りのようなものがずらり。
Apparently, these seats are called "flavor concentration counters," which originated at Ichiran, one of the five original restaurants!
どうやら五つの元祖の一つ、「一蘭」発祥の“味集中カウンター”という名の席なのだとか！
It was invented by Mr. Yoshitomi, the founder of the company, and not only does it attract attention, but it is also equipped with a water server so that you can concentrate only on the taste of the ramen.
創業者の吉富さんが考案したもので、人目が気にならないだけでなくウォーターサーバーも完備されているため、ラーメンの味だけに集中することができるそう。
This makes it easy for those who feel embarrassed to eat ramen alone to enjoy it!
これなら一人でラーメンを食べるのが恥ずかしいと思われる方も気軽に楽しめそうですね！

カウンターの右側にある紙は五つの元祖のうちの一つの“オーダー用紙”です。
Apparently, you can change the flavor to your liking! Amazing!

自分好みに味を変えられるんだとか！すごい！！
We decided to try the recommended ramen first.
まずはおススメで食べてみることにしました。
It wasn't lunchtime, and the ramen arrived in less than five minutes.
お昼時ではなかったですが5分も待たずに到着。
It's so simple!
シンプル！！
It looks beautiful, with nothing redundant!
見た目に無駄なものが一切ない、美しい！
The red sauce in the center is one of the five original "secret sauces" that only four of the employees of Ichiran, which has stores in Japan and overseas, know the recipe for!
中央の赤いたれは、五つの元祖の一つである”秘伝のたれ”で国内外に店舗を持つ「一蘭」の社員の中でもたったの4人しかレシピを知らないまさに秘伝のたれなのです！

It's delicious!
旨い！
The original tonkotsu (pork bone) soup is very rich without any odor peculiar to pork bones.
元祖の“とんこつスープ”は豚骨特有の臭みが一切なくとっても濃厚です。
It's no wonder that the amount of ingredients used in the soup is thoroughly controlled, and there's even a rule that says you have to put the noodles in within 30 seconds after pouring the soup into the bowl!
それもそのはず、スープの材料はその分量まで徹底的に管理されており、どんぶりにスープを注いでから30秒以内に麺を入れるルールまであるんだとか！
The spiciness of the secret red sauce was a perfect match, and I can see why it's so popular!
秘伝の赤いたれの辛味も絶妙にマッチしていて人気の理由がわかる一杯でした！！
It was so delicious that I could understand this rule, and I finished it right away
このルールにも納得できるくらいのおいしさですぐに完食（笑）
Although I didn't order it this time, there is a system where you can order a "doubled serving" at your seat without speaking.
今回は頼みませんでしたが、声を出さずにお席で“替え玉注文”できるシステムもあります。
An old-fashioned chalmera(shawm-like instrument played by street vendors (sometimes called a flute)) will sound and your doubled serving will be brought to you.
昔ながらのチャルメラが鳴り、替え玉が運ばれてきます。
You can order as many doubles as you want without worrying about the people around you.
これも周りを気にせず好きなだけ替え玉できますね（笑）
I've never been a fan of tonkotsu ramen, but now I'm sure I'll be coming back for more!
今まで好んではとんこつラーメンを食べてこなかったですが、これからは何度も足を運んでしまいそうです！
I strongly recommend everyone to try their rich tonkotsu ramen at least once!
